January 2020 and arrive at the stunning Abu Dhabi Golf Course and an on-site hotel for the first Rolex event of the season.
The first event of the new decade …. Jan….a stellar field including a number of players currently ranked in the Top 50. I am looking forward to be playing amongst such a field and on a course with lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers and immaculate greens – it’s described as a “super course”. “I know this year I need to put more pressure on myself to move up the Race to Dubai early on in the season. Securing my European tour card on the last day of the last event of the season was nerve-racking and I am focusing on being much higher this year.” With 4 great rounds of solid golf all under par, a tie for 12th place and valuable Race to Dubai points were secure. Currently 23rd in the Race to Dubai I am happy with my performance so far but will keep on pushing to make cuts and move up the ranks. I feel proud to retain my sponsorship with Nike which installs a lot of confidence knowing Nike wants you to wear and represent their brand in golf. Next stop Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
